Course overview

Explore sunken structures with the SSI Wreck Diving specialty at Kovalam on the Kerala coast, applying wreck techniques in the warm Arabian Sea to depths of 30 metres. You learn survey, mapping and careful navigation around wreck and reef sites near Kovalam under instructor guidance. You finish as a certified SSI Wreck Diver.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
• SSI Deep Diving recommended for deeper sites
• Diver medical questionnaire (physician sign-off if any condition applies)

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and first dives

   Cover wreck-diving theory through the SSI app and make the first guided wreck dives off Kovalam.
2. Day2
   Mapping and certification

   Complete survey, mapping and remaining dives in the Arabian Sea and certify as an SSI Wreck Diver.
