Course overview

Learn to dive wrecks safely with the SSI Wreck Diving Specialty on Bangaram Island, developing survey, mapping and navigation skills in the clear, calm waters of remote Lakshadweep. You gain the knowledge to plan and conduct wreck dives within recreational limits to 30 metres. The course earns you the SSI Wreck Diving certification.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
• Sound buoyancy and navigation skills
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and survey

   Complete the digital academics and first wreck dives focused on assessment and survey skills.
2. Day2
   Mapping and navigation

   Finish the remaining wreck dives practising mapping, reel use and navigation, then certify.
