Course overview

Earn a recognised certification in less time with the SSI Scuba Diver course in Rasdhoo Atoll, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a dive professional. Perfect for a shorter trip, it covers the first portion of the Open Water program on the island's calm reefs and upgrades directly to full Open Water Diver later.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (junior) or 15
• Adequate comfort and basic swimming ability

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined water

   Opening SSI digital sections and confined-water skills in the sheltered shallows by the island.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives & certification

   Open-water training dives to 12 metres at a calm reef such as Three Palm, then digital certification.
