Get qualified quickly with the SSI Scuba Diver course on Maafushi, a streamlined entry-level certification perfect for a short Maldives holiday. You complete the core skills and open-water dives on the island's calm house reef in warm 27-30°C water and earn a certification to dive to 12 metres with a professional. The course is fully upgradable to SSI Open Water Diver later.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Academics & confined water

   Work through the SSI Scuba Diver academics on the app and complete confined-water sessions on the calm house reef.
2. Day2

   Complete two open-water training dives off Maafushi to certify as an SSI Scuba Diver.
