Course overview

Get certified faster with the PADI Scuba Diver course on Maafushi, a streamlined entry-level qualification ideal for a short Maldives trip. Covering part of the Open Water course, you complete the core skills and open-water dives on the island's calm house reef in warm 27-30°C water, earning a certification to dive to 12 metres with a professional. You can easily upgrade to full Open Water later.

Prerequisites

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined water

   Complete the first three knowledge sections and three confined-water sessions on the calm house reef, learning core scuba skills.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives

   Complete two open-water training dives off Maafushi to certify as a PADI Scuba Diver.
