Learn to prevent, recognise and manage dive emergencies with the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course in Fiji's Pacific Harbour. Practising on warm 24-30C reef sites around Beqa Lagoon, you master stress recognition, surface and underwater rescues, and accident management, building real composure under pressure. It is a key step toward the SSI leadership ratings.
SSI Diver Stress & Rescue is the agency's equivalent of Rescue Diver and, paired with first-aid and oxygen-provider training, is a prerequisite for SSI leadership ratings. Certification is issued through the SSI digital platform.
Scenarios run on sheltered Pacific Harbour and Beqa Lagoon reefs in warm 24-30C water, with the calmest surface conditions during the May-to-October peak season.
