Course overview

SSI Diver Stress & Rescue in Tulamben teaches you to spot trouble before it becomes an emergency and to handle it confidently from the black-sand shore that fronts the USAT Liberty. You rehearse tows, lifts and surface assists in the calm, warm shallows of Tulamben Bay. It is the course that makes you a genuinely dependable buddy on Bali's reefs and beyond.

What you’ll learn

• Identify and prevent diver stress
• Conduct self-rescue and buddy assists
• Locate and recover an unresponsive diver
• Give in-water rescue breaths
• Coordinate an emergency response

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
• Current CPR/first aid (React Right)
• Medical fitness for diving
