Course overview

Become a certified diver for life with the SSI Open Water Diver course in Pondicherry. Across four days you'll move from confined water to the Bay of Bengal, diving to 18m on the reefs and fish-aggregation sites where stingrays and parrotfish are regular company.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and confined water

   Complete digital learning and start pool skill sessions.
2. Day2
   Confined water

   Master remaining pool skills and dive-planning.
3. Day3
   Open-water dives 1-2

   Make the first two Bay of Bengal training dives to 18m.
4. Day4
   Open-water dives 3-4

   Finish the final training dives and certification.
