PADI's Open Water Diver uses eLearning theory, confined-water sessions and four open-water dives, embeds Project AWARE conservation and issues a lifetime, internationally recognised PADI certification card.

Where you'll dive in Pondicherry

Open Water training dives run on Pondicherry's Bay of Bengal reefs to a maximum of 18m, where the generally calm, 27-30C Oct-May conditions are ideal for beginners. You'll share the water with parrotfish, butterflyfish, stingrays and the occasional moray eel.
