The SSI Open Water Diver pathway

SSI Open Water Diver is a globally recognised entry-level certification delivered through SSI's digital learning system. It qualifies you to dive to 18 m with a buddy and leads on to SSI Advanced Adventurer and specialties.

Where you'll dive in Papua New Guinea

You learn in Kimbe Bay's sheltered shallows and on easy fringing reefs, where warm 27-30°C water, gentle entries and turtle-rich coral create an ideal training ground, best in the dry season from May to October.
