SSI Open Water Diver on Havelock certifies you to dive to 18 metres for life in the warm, biodiverse Andaman Sea. With small groups and unlimited confined-water practice, you'll build skills over Havelock's calm coral reefs where clownfish, parrotfish and turtles are common sights. It's a thorough, performance-based start to a lifetime of diving.
SSI's Open Water is performance-based with repeatable sessions, uses free digital materials, and issues an SSI digital card linked to your online dive profile.
SSI training uses Havelock's wind-sheltered beginner reefs, with confined work in calm shallows and open dives to 18 metres in 28°C water. The Andaman Sea's high biodiversity means clownfish, parrotfish, moray eels and turtles on most dives. These sites remain accessible all year, including the fish-rich monsoon months.
