Course overview

The PADI Open Water Diver course on Havelock earns you a lifelong licence to dive to 18 metres in one of India's richest marine regions. Taught in small groups in the calm, crystal-clear Andaman Sea, your confined and open-water dives unfold over coral reefs off Beach No. 3 alive with clownfish, parrotfish and turtles. It's the full, internationally recognised entry into scuba.

What you’ll learn

• Master essential underwater skills

• Manage common problems calmly
• Dive independently with a buddy to 18 metres

Prerequisites

• Minimum 10 years old (Junior certification under 15)
• Swim 200 metres and float for 10 minutes
• Medical clearance if any health condition applies; Andaman rules cap diving age at 59 with clearance over 50
