Course overview

Discover how Coron's reefs transform after sunset with the SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility specialty, when nocturnal species such as cuttlefish and crustaceans emerge. Across night dives on sheltered reef sites in warm 27-29C water, you learn light handling, signalling and orientation in darkness through SSI's digital platform and guided practice. You finish ready to plan and enjoy night dives confidently.

What you’ll learn

• Handle a primary and backup light effectively

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
• Comfortable with buoyancy in open water

1. Day1
