Course overview

Find your way with confidence using the SSI Navigation Specialty on Bangaram Island, learning compass and natural navigation on the clear coral reefs of remote Lakshadweep. You develop the skills to plan routes, relocate sites and lead dives independently in the calm water of India's tropical-atoll resort. The course earns you the SSI Navigation certification.

What you’ll learn

• Navigate using a compass on straight and pattern courses

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (Junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Basic buoyancy control
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
