The SSI Underwater Navigation pathway

SSI Navigation is a recognised specialty in the SSI Total Diving System and counts toward the Specialty Diver and Advanced Open Water ratings. It extends the basic navigation skills introduced at Open Water level.

Where you'll dive in Banda Sea

Skills are practised at Ambon's reef and muck sites such as the Coral Gardens, where gentle slopes and natural features make navigation easy to learn in warm 27-29°C water. The bay dives well through the year.
