The SSI Instructor Training Course builds your ability to lead students on the black-sand beach and through dives on the coral-encrusted USAT Liberty. You finish ready for the Instructor Evaluation and a career certifying divers across the globe.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 18
• SSI Divemaster or equivalent professional rating
• Required logged dives per SSI standards
• Current first-aid/CPR and rescue

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Teaching system

   Learn the SSI digital teaching approach and develop presentations.
2. Day2
   Confined teaching

   Practise teaching skills in Tulamben Bay's sheltered shallows.
3. Day3
   Open-water teaching

   Deliver open-water teaching dives over Tulamben's reefs.
4. Day4
   Evaluation prep

   Complete assessments and rehearse for the SSI Instructor Evaluation.
