Course overview

Dive Netrani Island's reef as a certified diver with guided SSI fun dives off Karnataka's Murdeshwar coast. Each boat trip explores the heart-shaped island's clear waters, home to barracuda, morays, octopus and dense schools of reef fish across depths from about 5 to 30 metres. Fun dives let certified divers enjoy Netrani at their own pace, no coursework required.

What you’ll learn

• Put your SSI certification skills to use on a guided reef dive
• Identify Netrani's marine life from barracuda to reef-fish schools
• Maintain good buoyancy and monitor your air
• Follow a local guide to the highlights of the site
• Gain experience and confidence between courses

Prerequisites

• SSI Open Water Diver certification or higher (or equivalent)
• Proof of certification via the SSI app or logbook
• Recent dive experience recommended, or a refresher if inactive
• Reasonable physical health with a completed medical questionnaire
