Course overview

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty is a perfect fit for Hurghada's multi-dive boat days, where longer no-decompression limits translate into more bottom time across the Red Sea's reefs and drop-offs. This knowledge-based course teaches you to analyse, plan and dive with nitrox blends safely. You finish certified to use enriched air on dives worldwide.

What you’ll learn

• Understand how enriched air extends no-decompression limits
• Analyse and label nitrox cylinders correctly
• Calculate maximum operating depths and oxygen-exposure limits
• Set a dive computer for enriched air blends
• Plan repetitive nitrox dives and track exposure
• Handle nitrox cylinders and fills safely

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Medical clearance to dive signed by a physician
