Course overview

Get the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification on Gili Trawangan and lengthen your bottom time across the island's turtle and reef sites. Through SSI's digital academics you learn to analyse blends and plan nitrox dives, perfect for extended exploration of warm 27-29°C reefs like Turtle Heaven.

What you’ll learn

• Understand enriched air and its advantages over regular air
• Analyse cylinder oxygen content and set maximum operating depth
• Calculate extended no-decompression limits with nitrox tables or computer
• Stay within oxygen partial-pressure limits
• Plan and log nitrox dives on Gili reefs

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior)
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• No prior nitrox experience required
• Diver medical clearance where required

1. Day1
   Theory, analysis & certification

   Work through SSI nitrox academics, practise analysing cylinders and setting MOD, then certify, with optional nitrox dives on Gili reefs.
