Course overview

Earn the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver certification on Gili Trawangan and extend your no-decompression bottom time on the island's reef and turtle sites. This mostly theory-based course teaches you to analyse and dive enriched-air blends, ideal for longer, safer dives on warm 27-29°C reefs like Turtle Heaven.

What you’ll learn

• Understand the benefits and limits of enriched air (nitrox)
• Analyse oxygen content in a cylinder and set maximum operating depth
• Calculate extended no-decompression limits using nitrox tables or a computer
• Manage oxygen exposure and partial-pressure limits

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior)
• PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• No prior nitrox experience required
• Diver medical clearance where required
