Course overview

Get more bottom time on Cyprus's wrecks and reefs with the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox course, learning to dive safely with oxygen-rich blends. It is the ideal add-on for repetitive diving and for deeper sites like the Zenobia wreck, where extended no-decompression limits let you explore more of the structure on each dive.

What you’ll learn

• Understand how enriched air extends no-decompression limits
• Calculate maximum operating depth and manage oxygen exposure
• Analyse cylinder contents and label tanks correctly
• Plan nitrox dives with SSI tables and dive computers
• Apply enriched-air procedures on repetitive dives

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• No prior nitrox experience required
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

1. Day1
   Theory, analysis and dives

   Work through the SSI digital nitrox academics, practise oxygen analysis and labelling, and apply the procedures on optional local dives.
