Course overview

Extend your no-decompression time on Cyprus's deeper sites with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver course, the agency's most popular specialty. Breathing enriched air is ideal for repetitive dives and for sites such as the 16-to-40-metre Zenobia wreck, where longer bottom times let you explore more of the cargo decks and structure on a single descent.

What you’ll learn

• Understand the benefits and risks of diving with enriched air nitrox
• Set and manage maximum operating depth and oxygen exposure limits
• Analyse a cylinder's oxygen content and label it correctly
• Plan enriched-air dives using tables or a nitrox-capable computer
• Extend no-decompression limits safely on repetitive dives

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• No decompression-diving experience required
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory, analysis and dives

   Complete the enriched-air knowledge sessions, practise analysing and labelling cylinders, and apply the skills on optional dives such as the Zenobia wreck.
