Course overview

Gain practical emergency skills with the SSI React Right course on Bangaram Island, an integrated first-aid, CPR and AED programme that also satisfies the prerequisite for the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course and professional ratings. Run in the resort classroom on the remote Lakshadweep atoll, it equips any participant, diver or not, to respond in an emergency. You finish with a recognised SSI React Right certification.

What you’ll learn

• Perform adult CPR and manage life-threatening emergencies
• Deliver primary assessment and basic life support
• Provide first aid for common injuries and illnesses
• Operate an automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Manage bleeding, shock and patient assessment
• Understand emergency oxygen administration concepts
