Course overview

Gain essential emergency skills with the SSI React Right course on Ambergris Caye, a non-diving certification covering CPR, first aid and AED use. It builds the safety foundation that supports the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue and Divemaster pathways on the Belize Barrier Reef.

What you’ll learn

• Deliver CPR and rescue breathing effectively
• Manage primary-care emergencies with a clear plan
• Provide secondary first aid for injuries and illness
• Operate an automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Control bleeding and treat for shock
• Recognise emergencies and activate help quickly

1. Day1
   CPR & first aid

   SSI digital study plus hands-on CPR, AED and first-aid practice with manikins, completed in one day at the dive centre on the island.
