Course overview

Push your limits safely with the SSI Deep Diving specialty in Port Blair and learn to dive to the recreational maximum of 40 metres. Across two days you practise deep-dive planning, gas management and narcosis awareness on the deeper walls of the Andaman Sea. The certification unlocks the deeper sites and marine life found below standard sport-diving depths.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent certification
• Comfortable buoyancy and air management
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep planning & first dives

   Study deep-diving theory and narcosis management, then make your first progressively deeper dives in the Andaman Sea.
2. Day2
   To 40 metres

   Complete the deeper dives toward the 40-metre limit on a suitable Andaman wall and certify.
