Course overview

Reach the recreational ceiling of 40 metres with the SSI Deep Diving specialty in Malta and Gozo, home to deep wrecks and sheer reef walls. You master deep-dive planning, gas management and narcosis awareness on sites like the deeper wreck decks and the dramatic Gozo drop-offs near the Blue Hole. You earn the SSI Deep Diving certification, valid worldwide.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
• Solid buoyancy and air-management skills
• Medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Planning & build-up

   Academics plus dives building toward 30 metres on a deeper wall or wreck, with planning and narcosis checks.
2. Day2
   To 40 metres

   Dives extending to the 40-metre limit on a deep Gozo or Malta site, then certification.
