Course overview

Push safely into the deeper Andaman pinnacles with the SSI Deep Diving specialty in Krabi, training on sites such as Shark Point reached from Ao Nang. You learn deep-dive planning, gas management and narcosis recognition across progressive dives to the recreational limit. You finish certified as an SSI Deep Diving specialty diver, cleared to 40 metres.

• Use proper ascent rates and safety stops on deep profiles

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent certification
• Comfortable monitoring air and buoyancy
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

1. Day1
   Planning & progressive dives

   Cover deep-dive theory and complete progressively deeper dives on local Andaman pinnacles, practising gas and narcosis checks.
2. Day2
   Deep dives to 40m

   Dive toward the 40-metre limit on deeper sites such as Shark Point with full contingency planning.
