Course overview

Reach the recreational limit of 40 metres with the SSI Deep Diving specialty in Cyprus, perfect for exploring the deeper decks of the world-famous Zenobia wreck. Over your training dives you master deep-dive planning, gas management and narcosis awareness on sites like the Zenobia and Nemesis III.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to a maximum of 40 metres
• Manage gas, turn pressures and controlled ascents
• Recognise and manage nitrogen narcosis
• Apply deep-dive safety procedures and reference lines
• Track no-decompression limits with a dive computer

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent experience
• Comfort with dives beyond 18 metres
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep planning and first dives

   SSI digital theory on deep procedures followed by progressively deeper dives building toward the Zenobia.
2. Day2
   Deep dives to 40m

   Further dives toward 40 metres on the lower Zenobia or Nemesis III, then certify.
