Course overview

Extend your limits to 40 metres with the PADI Deep Diver specialty in Cyprus, ideal for divers wanting to reach the lower decks of the Zenobia wreck. Across four dives you learn deep-dive planning, gas management and how to recognise and manage narcosis on sites like the Zenobia and Nemesis III.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to a maximum of 40 metres
• Manage gas supply, turn pressures and ascent rates
• Recognise and respond to nitrogen narcosis
• Use safety stops, reels and reference lines on deep dives
• Monitor no-decompression limits with computers

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Comfort with dives beyond 18 metres
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep planning and first dives

   Theory on deep-diving procedures followed by two progressively deeper dives, building toward the Zenobia.
2. Day2
   Deep dives to 40m

   Two further dives to a maximum of 40 metres, exploring the deeper sections of the Zenobia or Nemesis III, then certify.
