Course overview

SSI Deep Diving readies you for Bali's vertical drama — chiefly the Tulamben Drop Off, a Mount Agung lava wall that falls past 40m into blue water. Over four dives you build confidence managing depth, gas and narcosis while exploring deeper coral and the lower reaches of the Liberty wreck. Bali's clear, warm water makes it an excellent place to extend your safe depth range.

• Manage air supply and ascent rates at depth
• Use descent/ascent reference lines
• Practise a simulated deco stop

• Minimum age 15
• SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
• Medical fitness for diving

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep dives 1-2

   Work the Drop Off wall focusing on gas use and narcosis awareness.
2. Day2
   Deep dives 3-4

   Practise deeper planning and a simulated decompression stop.
