Course overview

The PADI Deep Diver course opens Bali's deeper terrain — the volcanic Drop Off wall near Tulamben plunges past 40m, draped in gorgonians and sponges born from a Mount Agung eruption. Across four dives you learn to manage gas, narcosis and decompression status while exploring the deeper reaches of the Liberty wreck and the wall. It is the gateway to Bali's most dramatic vertical scenery.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to 40m
• Recognise and manage nitrogen narcosis
• Monitor gas supply and no-stop limits at depth
• Use a reference line for controlled descents
• Handle a simulated emergency decompression stop

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water
• Medical clearance for diving

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep dives 1-2

   Descend the Drop Off wall practising narcosis checks and gas management.
2. Day2
   Deep dives 3-4
