The PADI Deep Diver course opens Bali's deeper terrain — the volcanic Drop Off wall near Tulamben plunges past 40m, draped in gorgonians and sponges born from a Mount Agung eruption. Across four dives you learn to manage gas, narcosis and decompression status while exploring the deeper reaches of the Liberty wreck and the wall. It is the gateway to Bali's most dramatic vertical scenery.
PADI Deep Diver uses eLearning theory and four logged training dives, certifies you to the recreational limit of 40m, and counts toward Master Scuba Diver with the PADI specialty card.
Deep dives use Tulamben's Drop Off — a sheer volcanic wall descending past 40m and beyond to 70m — and the deeper sections of the Liberty wreck, where reef sharks and larger pelagics patrol the cooler, dimmer water.
