Course overview

Advance to SSI Advanced Adventurer in the Solomon Islands and open up deeper wreck and reef diving across the Pacific's famed Iron Bottom Sound. Five adventure dives across different specialties let you explore WWII wrecks and untouched reefs around Guadalcanal and Munda in warm 27-30°C water. You certify to dive deeper and gain a head start toward full specialty ratings.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to deeper recreational limits
• Navigate underwater with a compass and natural references
• Sample multiple specialties such as deep, navigation and wreck diving
• Improve buoyancy, trim and gas management
• Build confidence and awareness for more advanced sites

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12
• SSI Open Water Diver or qualifying entry-level certification
• Diver medical clearance where required by health history

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation

   Complete the deep and navigation adventure dives on reef sites and the edge of Iron Bottom Sound.
2. Day2
   Specialty dives & certification

   Three further specialty adventure dives such as wreck and perfect buoyancy across Guadalcanal and Munda, then certify.
