Course overview

Advance your diving with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Phuket, extending your range to 30 metres across five adventure dives that sample different specialties. Training on the Andaman Sea's reefs, wrecks and pinnacles, you gain the experience to dive sites like Racha Noi, Shark Point and the King Cruiser. It is the natural progression from Open Water within the SSI system.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to 30 metres
• Navigate using compass and natural references
• Apply deep-diving and gas-monitoring procedures
• Sample specialties such as navigation, deep and wreck
• Improve buoyancy and dive planning
• Gain confidence across a variety of dive sites

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior)
• SSI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• Diver medical clearance where required

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation

   Complete the deep and navigation adventure dives at Racha Noi and a sheltered reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures

   Further adventure dives such as wreck or perfect buoyancy on Phuket's varied sites.
3. Day3
   Final dive and certification

   Complete the remaining adventure dive and certify as an Advanced Adventurer.
