Course overview

Open up Phuket's best diving with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, which extends your certified depth to 30 metres and lets you sample five different specialties over five adventure dives. Training across the Andaman Sea's reefs, wrecks and pinnacles, you build the skills to dive sites like Racha Noi, Shark Point and the King Cruiser. It is the natural next step after Open Water.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to 30 metres
• Navigate underwater with a compass and natural references
• Apply deep-diving procedures and gas monitoring
• Sample specialties such as wreck, night or fish identification
• Improve buoyancy, trim and dive planning
• Build confidence across varied dive sites and conditions

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced Open Water)
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• Diver medical clearance where required

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep and navigation

   Complete the two core adventure dives, Deep and Underwater Navigation, at Racha Noi and a sheltered reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures

   Three elective adventure dives such as wreck, night or peak-performance buoyancy on Phuket's varied sites, then certification.
