Course overview

SSI Advanced Adventurer on the Perhentian Islands takes you to 30 metres across five adventure dives, sampling different specialties so you can find what you love. With wrecks, the Pinnacle (Tokong Laut) and reefs full of turtles and reef sharks nearby, it is an ideal place to build experience and confidence quickly through SSI's flexible, dive-led system.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to 30 metres
• Navigate with natural references and a compass
• Apply deep-diving procedures
• Sample multiple specialty areas across five dives
• Strengthen buoyancy, awareness and planning

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Navigation and specialty sampler

   A navigation adventure dive plus a specialty taster such as buoyancy or night on a local reef.
2. Day2
   Deep dive and specialties

   A deep adventure dive toward 30 metres on a site like the Sugar Wreck, plus a further specialty dive, then certification.
