The PADI Advanced Open Water course on the Perhentian Islands takes you to 30 metres and broadens your skills across five adventure dives, including the required Deep and Underwater Navigation dives. With wrecks, the Pinnacle (Tokong Laut) and reefs full of turtles and reef sharks on the doorstep, it is the perfect place to log varied dives and gain experience fast.
PADI Advanced Open Water requires the Deep and Underwater Navigation adventure dives plus three electives. Each adventure dive can credit toward the matching PADI specialty, and the course qualifies you to dive to 30 metres.
The five adventure dives use the Perhentians' variety, from reef sites teeming with turtles and reef sharks off Long Beach to the Sugar Wreck and the Pinnacle, in calm water around 27-30°C during the March-to-October season.
