Course overview

Unlock Nusa Penida's deeper, more exciting sites with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course, which combines five adventure dives to extend your range to 30 metres. You build deep-diving and navigation skills while learning to handle the drift of Toyapakeh, bringing Manta Point and Crystal Bay within reach. It is the practical next step after Open Water and a springboard into SSI specialty training.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute dives to around 30 metres
• Navigate with compass and natural references
• Manage drift and current diving with confidence
• Refine buoyancy and trim for reef and wall dives
• Sample specialty areas such as Deep, Navigation and Perfect Buoyancy

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10 (Junior) or 15 for Advanced Adventurer
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Basic buoyancy and comfort from entry-level training
• Diver medical clearance signed where indicated

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation

   Complete deep and navigation adventure dives, building depth confidence and compass skills at reef sites.
2. Day2
   Drift & electives

   Finish your remaining adventure dives, practising drift technique at Toyapakeh with a chance at Manta Point's mantas.
