Course overview

Expand your skills with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Moalboal, Cebu, sampling five different specialty dives across one of the Philippines' premier dive areas. You try a range of disciplines – often a deep dive on the Panagsama wall, navigation on the house reef and electives around Pescador Island – building confidence and experience toward deeper diving. You finish certified as an SSI Advanced Adventurer.

What you’ll learn

• Sample five specialty disciplines in real diving conditions
• Navigate underwater with compass and natural references
• Dive deeper while managing gas and no-decompression limits
• Improve buoyancy, trim and awareness
• Identify which specialties to pursue further
• Gain experience across varied sites and conditions

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior) / 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Diver medical questionnaire / physician's clearance where indicated

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation

   Two adventure dives, commonly a deep dive on the Panagsama wall and a navigation dive on the house reef.
2. Day2
   Three more specialties

   Three further specialty dives such as perfect buoyancy, night or search & recovery, often including a boat trip to Pescador Island.
