Course overview

Build on your Open Water certification with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Moalboal, Cebu, expanding your range with five adventure dives in one of the Philippines' best diving areas. You complete the required Deep and Underwater Navigation dives plus three electives, often using the Panagsama wall, the sardine-run reef and Pescador Island, gaining the experience to dive to 30 metres. You finish certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and execute deeper dives to 30 metres
• Navigate underwater using compass and natural references
• Apply skills from three elective adventure dives of your choice
• Improve buoyancy, trim and situational awareness
• Build experience across varied sites and conditions
• Manage gas and no-decompression limits at greater depth

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced) / 15
• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation

   Complete the required Deep dive on the Panagsama wall and the Underwater Navigation dive on the house reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventures

   Three elective adventure dives chosen from options such as buoyancy, night, wreck or drift, often including a boat trip to Pescador Island and the sardine run.
