Course overview

Unlock deeper, more varied diving with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Malta and Gozo, sampling five different specialty adventure dives. You experience deep, navigation and elective dives on the islands' wrecks, walls and caverns to 30 metres, then choose which specialties to pursue further. You earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification.

What you’ll learn

• Experience five specialty disciplines in open water
• Dive to 30 metres on the deep adventure dive
• Navigate using compass and natural references
• Sample electives such as wreck, night and buoyancy
• Improve dive planning and air management
• Decide which SSI specialties to continue with

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior) or 15 for full certification
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation

   Core adventure dives building toward 30 metres on a wreck or wall and refining navigation skills.
2. Day2
   Elective specialties

   Three further specialty adventure dives at Gozo, Cirkewwa or Comino, then certification.
