Course overview

Build into a confident, versatile diver with the SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Hurghada, where five different adventure dives let you sample specialties such as deep, navigation, wreck and night on the Red Sea's reefs and wrecks. The program extends your depth range toward 30 metres and helps you find the diving you enjoy most. You finish certified as an SSI Advanced Adventurer and ready to continue toward specialty ratings.

What you’ll learn

• Extend your depth range toward 30 metres on a deep adventure dive
• Navigate using compass and natural references
• Improve buoyancy, trim and air efficiency
• Sample specialties such as wreck, night or navigation diving
• Dive confidently in varied Red Sea conditions

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior) or 15
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
• Medical clearance to dive signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep, navigation & first adventure

   Complete the deep dive toward 30 metres, a navigation dive and your first elective adventure dive on local reefs.
2. Day2
   Adventure dives & certification

   Finish two further adventure dives, such as wreck or night, to complete the course and certify.
