Push your limits to 30 metres with the PADI Advanced Open Water course in Hurghada, a mostly practical, five-dive program that turns new divers into confident, well-rounded ones. With a compulsory deep dive and underwater navigation dive plus your choice of adventures such as wreck, night or peak performance buoyancy, you train on the Red Sea's reefs, walls and famous wrecks. You finish certified to dive to 30 metres and ready for the area's deeper sites.
This is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Each adventure dive is the first dive of the corresponding PADI specialty, so dives like deep or wreck can later be credited toward full specialty certifications.
The course makes the most of Hurghada's variety: deeper walls and drop-offs for the deep dive, easy reef tops for navigation, and famous wrecks like the Salem Express or the Abu Nuhas cargo ships for the elective wreck dive, all in warm, clear water (22-29C).
