Course overview

The SSI Advanced Adventurer course in Alor takes you to 30 metres through five adventure dives, the ideal next step for diving the archipelago's walls and currents. You sample different specialties, including deep and navigation, while exploring sites like Bama's great wall and the macro slopes of Masjid Ampera, then can continue toward the SSI Advanced Open Water recognition rating.

• Develop current awareness for drift diving
• Experience a range of specialty disciplines

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (junior certification for younger divers)
• SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Comfortable with basic scuba skills
• No minimum dive count beyond Open Water
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation dives

   Complete deep and navigation adventure dives on an Alor wall and reef, building depth and orientation skills.
2. Day2
   Choice adventure dives

   Sample further specialty dives, from macro slopes to drift and night diving, across Alor's varied sites.
