Course overview

The PADI Advanced Open Water course in Alor extends your certification to 30 metres across five adventure dives, the natural next step for tackling the archipelago's walls and currents. You complete required Deep and Underwater Navigation dives plus three of your choice, building the skills to explore sites like Bama's great wall and the macro slopes of Masjid Ampera.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced Open Water 12-14)
• PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Comfortable with basic scuba skills
• No minimum dive count beyond Open Water certification
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Deep & navigation dives

   Complete the two required adventure dives, descending deeper on an Alor wall and practising compass navigation on a reef.
2. Day2
   Elective adventure dives

   Choose three more adventure dives, exploring macro slopes, drift or night diving across Alor's varied sites.
