Course overview

Learn the techniques of safe wreck exploration with the PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Komodo, applying careful planning and penetration skills to the area's sunken structures and dramatic underwater relief. You master reel use, navigation and air management around overhead environments, building the discipline wreck diving demands. You finish certified as a PADI Wreck Diver.

What you’ll learn

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 15
• PADI Adventure Diver or higher (Advanced Open Water recommended)
• Comfort with buoyancy and navigation skills
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory and first wreck dives

   Cover wreck-diving planning and hazards, then complete the first wreck-specialty dives focusing on survey and navigation.
2. Day2
   Lines and certification

   Practise reel and guideline technique, complete the remaining dives, then certify as a PADI Wreck Diver.
