Course overview

The PADI Scuba Diver certification in Muscat is a streamlined subset of the Open Water course, ideal if you are short on time but want a real certification in Oman's clear coastal water. You complete the first sections of theory and confined-water training plus two open-water dives near Bandar Khayran, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a professional. You can later upgrade to full Open Water Diver.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• Able to swim and be comfortable in water
• No prior certification required
• Complete the diver medical questionnaire

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & confined water

   Complete the first knowledge-development sections and confined-water skills at a sheltered Muscat site.
2. Day2
   Open-water dives & certification

   Complete two open-water dives to 12 metres at Bandar Khayran, then certify as a PADI Scuba Diver.
