Course overview

The PADI Scuba Diver certification in Muscat is a streamlined subset of the Open Water course, ideal if you are short on time but want a real certification in Oman's clear coastal water. You complete the first sections of theory and confined-water training plus two open-water dives near Bandar Khayran, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres under the supervision of a professional. You can later upgrade to full Open Water Diver.

PADI Scuba Diver is a recognised sub-certification of Open Water Diver, qualifying you to dive to 12 metres with a PADI professional. You can upgrade to full Open Water Diver by completing the remaining sections and dives.

Scuba Diver training uses confined-water areas and shallow reefs near Muscat and Bandar Khayran, where calm seas and warm 24-30C water make a comfortable setting for early open-water dives.
