Course overview

Turn into a calmer, more capable diver in South Ari Atoll, where mild channel currents and remote sites make self-rescue and buddy-rescue skills truly worthwhile. The PADI Rescue Diver course has you practising tired-diver tows and surface rescues in the warm 26-30C lagoon before the real channel dives.

Where you'll dive in South Ari Atoll

Skills are honed on sheltered house reefs and lagoons at 5-12m where the warm, clear water makes practising tows and ascents straightforward. Scenarios then move to gently current-swept reef sites typical of South Ari, building real-world judgement before channel diving.
