The PADI Rescue Diver pathway

PADI Rescue Diver builds on Adventure or Advanced Open Water training and requires a current CPR and first-aid rating such as Emergency First Response. It is a mandatory step toward the PADI Divemaster and instructor pathway.

Where you'll dive in Seychelles

Rescue training uses Mahe's calm, protected bays around Beau Vallon for skill practice and the nearby granite-boulder reefs for scenarios, in 26-30C water with calm-to-moderate conditions. The settled windows of April-May and September-November are ideal for the open-water exercises.
