Become a more confident, capable diver with the PADI Rescue Diver course in Ambon on the Banda Sea, learning to prevent and manage in-water problems. Across self-rescue and emergency scenarios staged in calm Ambon Bay you build the judgement to handle stressed, tired or unresponsive divers — skills that matter in the region's occasional moderate currents.
PADI Rescue Diver is the prerequisite for the Divemaster rating and a major confidence step in the PADI continuing-education pathway. Current Emergency First Response (or equivalent first-aid/CPR) certification within 24 months is required.
Rescue skills are drilled in the calm, shallow margins of Ambon Bay, with scenarios staged on local reef sites where warm 27-29°C water and occasional moderate currents make realistic practice. The bay is diveable year-round.
