Course overview

PADI ReActivate is a refresher for certified divers who have been out of the water for a while, rebuilding skills and confidence before exploring Zanzibar. You review key knowledge and practise core skills in shallow water so you are ready to enjoy guided dives around Mnemba Atoll and Stone Town safely.

What you’ll learn

• Refresh essential dive theory and safety procedures
• Re-practise mask clearing and regulator recovery
• Restore buoyancy control and trim
• Review dive planning and buddy procedures
• Rebuild confidence in shallow water
• Update your knowledge on current best practice

Prerequisites

• Existing PADI (or equivalent) certification
• Recommended for divers inactive 6-12 months or more
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician if applicable

1. Day1
   Refresh & dive

   Complete the ReActivate knowledge review and a shallow skills session, then optionally join a guided check-out dive on a sheltered Mnemba or Stone Town reef.
